Hi! I'm Kaitlyn.
Until recently, The Big and Bright was my wedding and newborn photography business. I spent the last decade documenting all of the big milestones and the little bright moments in between, but in 2025, I made the very bittersweet decision to step away from photography to focus on my family and be fully present at home. I’ve cherished being able to serve so many couples and families across Texas over the years, but the absolute joy of my life is being a wife + mom and being home with my children.
Life looks a lot different these days with our busy little trio and I’m excited to start sharing bits of our life here again (I’ve been blogging since the good ole days of blogging, before Instagram was even a thing!). From favorite finds to organization + systems, homeschooling, and homemaking, The Big and Bright is now a space to share the big and bright parts of our family’s story and the things I love.
